Matthew Choe
Co-Founder & Co-President
Matthew is a Junior studying Economics and minoring in Business from Menlo Park, California. On campus, Matthew is also involved in Apex Trading Group and University of Michigan Sport Business Association. In previous summers, Matthew interned at Atinum Investment as a Venture Capital Analyst. Some fun facts about Matthew are that he is an avid golfer and enjoys following the NFL, NBA, MLB, F1, and Premier League.
Christian Thomas
Co-Founder & Co-President
Christian is a Junior BBA from Sterling Heights, Michigan. On campus, Christian is involved in the Maize and Blue Fund and Intramural Sports teams. Last summer, he interned at Pointe Capital Management, a wealth management firm in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. This summer he will join TD Cowen as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in New York City. Some fun facts about Christian are that he likes the English Premier League and is a sports car enthusiast.
Kyra Santhana
Vice President of Education
Kyra is a Junior BBA from Holmdel, New Jersey. On campus, Kyra is also involved in Michigan Stocks and Bonds Organization and Michigan Private Equity and Venture Capital. This past summer, she interned at an asset management firm called Forefront Analytics. Next summer, she will be joining Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in the New York office. A fun fact about Kyra is that she was a competitive dancer for 13 years and has competed in the World Dance Championship three times.
Grant Preves
Co-Vice President of Finance and Portfolios
Grant is a junior majoring in Economics and minoring in Astronomy. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. On campus, Grant is involved in Michigan Interactive Investments, Scholars of Finance, Model Federal Open Market Committee and Michigan Society of American Baseball Research. This past summer, he worked at an alternative asset manager specialized in convertible bond investing. A fun fact about Grant is that he has a twin brother.
Ari Harris
Vice President of External Affairs and Co-Vice President of Professional Development
Ari is a Junior BBA from Chicago, Illinois. Aside from MWAM, Ari is involved in the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and plays intramural basketball. In 2023, he studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science and in 2022, he interned for the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. This summer Ari is going to be a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in Asset Management in NYC. He has a passion for outdoor photography and learning about extreme weather.
Griffin Klein
Co-Vice President of Professional Development and Co-Vice President of Finance and Portfolios
Griffin is a Junior studying Sport Management with a minor in Real Estate from Manhattan, New York. This past summer, he interned on the Debt Capital Markets team at Pretium, a specialized real estate investment manager. This upcoming summer he will be working at Goldman Sachs in the Real Estate Secondaries group. Some fun facts about Griffin are that he is the 24th family member to attend the University of Michigan and he loves playing poker.
Lee Fingar-Myers
Vice President of Internal Affairs
Lee is a junior pursuing a major in Statistics and originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. On campus, Lee is involved with multiple organizations including the Michigan Sports Analytics Society, Michigan Innovative Marketing, and is the philanthropy chairman of the Sigma Nu Chapter at the University of Michigan. This past summer he worked as a marketing analytics intern for an ecommerce platform, Mad Paws, in Sydney, Australia. On the side, Lee enjoys going to Detroit Tigers games and binging Adam Sandler movies.
Breanna Beringer
Vice President of Recruitment
Bre is a Junior BBA with minors in Economics and Energy Science & Policy from Plymouth, Michigan. On campus, Bre is also involved in Michigan Sport Consulting Group, Fleece & Thank You, and Society of Women in Finance. Last summer, she worked as a private equity analyst at Bruin Capital and will join BMO Capital Markets as an investment banking summer analyst next summer. In her free time, she enjoys following MLB, running, and trying new restaurants.
Maya Lindsley
Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Maya is a Sophomore BBA with a double minor in French and Entrepreneurship from Battle Creek, Michigan. On campus, Maya is a BA 100 Peer Mentor and is involved with the Association of Latino Professionals for America and the American Sign Language Club. A fun fact about Maya is that she can speak gibberish.
Arnav Gupta
Vice President of Operations
Arnav is a Junior majoring Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), and minoring in Business Administration. He grew up in South Florida and now lives in the Washington D.C. area. On campus, Arnav is involved in the Michigan Journal of Economics, The Michigan Daily, the Model Federal Open Market Committee, and Net Impact. Off campus, he is a Venture Director for BullMont Capital, a student-driven venture capital studio. This past summer, he was a lobbying intern for the boutique firm LobbyIt. He loves the automotive industry, listening to music, playing basketball, and following politics.
